Eskişehir is a prominent center in Turkey's aerospace and defense industry, hosting approximately 60 companies with a workforce of around 9,500 employees. In 2024, Eskişehir achieved a 15% increase in exports, reaching a total of $4.5 billion.

Companies in Eskişehir specialize in the production of structural components and engines for both military and civilian aircraft. Notably, TUSAŞ Engine Industries (TEI) develops and manufactures engines for national aircraft and helicopters. Alp Aviation manufactures critical structural parts for Sikorsky's S-70, S-76 and S-92 platforms and components for the F-22 and F-35 aircraft.
